The freezing weather and recent rains neatly laid this greenery down in one of the planter boxes along West 3rd.  The textures and  muted colors drew my eye and I wandered about the 3′ square box for 10 minutes or so looking for the right composition.  I included the curb stone and small bits of gravel for contrast against the slowly decaying organic material.  And, as is usually the case, I ended up using one of the very first frames I shot this afternoon.
