Can you imagine this corner back when the Francis Scott Key hotel was in its prime?  Perhaps taxi cabs lined up along Patrick Street waiting for a fare.  A doorman at the Court Street entrance directing traffic as patrons unload their suitcases with the assistance of a bell hop. Maybe a valet stand to park the cars.  It must have been a busy, busy corner.

Trivia fact:  The Court Street entrance has the only revolving door in the Historic District.  And it is still in use.
