I think I have a thing going here.  Both yesterday’s and today’s photos are heavy on the primary colors and each has a touch of snow.  I do like the “split down the middle” symmetry in this scene with the warm and cool colors offering strong contrast.  And the shadows are nice, too.

I shot the left hand home when it was first being painted this nice blue back in May of 2013.  You can see that photo here.

  1. That is amazing.. I wonder how old these houses are…. it looks like original siding. It looks like the yellow house is recently painted as well when looking back to the 2013 pic.

  2. If you zoom in on the upper left hand corner of the blue porch you will see to cardinals basking in the sun.
