The ochers and umbers of autumn are probably my favorite colors so I was happy to find these plants illuminated by the noon day sun against the shadowed wall.  I also like the highly organic shapes of the old blossoms striving to break free of the man-made lines of the chain link fence and brick wall.  So for me this is a highly satisfying photo.

Do me a favor and don’t tell Lamb Chop I know what umber and ocher are…I plead ignorance when she wants help picking out new paint colors for the house.
