There is nothing that says “Historic District” to me like the 7th Street fountain.  I have photographed it way more than two or three times.

Today the fountain seemed particularly active.  I don’t if it was the wind or the soap bubbles but it did seem to be enjoying itself this afternoon.

  1. yeah – love it, too

  2. Really like the shot with the clouds!

  3. It’s a great image of a truly wonderful fountain. Is it really within the historic district? I didn’t know it went that far north.
And no matter how many years it has been gone, I still tend to see the WFMD building behind the fountain as I drive up Market St. Yellow, with big green letters.

  4. The fountain is within the Historic District. Seventh Street is the northern border. And I still see the old WFMD building, too!
