Today I had little time for a personal photo run so I carefully planned out what I would shoot for the blog to maximize my efficiency.  But this is not that photo.  I did shoot the photo I had planned but the cloudage ninety degrees to my right was much more interesting and this isn’t a bad building to photograph.

This is not a building you just stumble across, you have to go looking for it.  It was the home of the Bierly tannery for over 150 years beginning around 1820 and is another reminder of the industries that used to inhabit certain sections of the Historic District.  Most, if not all, of these industries are gone now, but their shadows remain if you know where to look.
