In the summer I spend most Sunday evenings in Baker Park for the Summer Concert Series.  Tonight’s band was amazing.  A huge crowd.  Mild weather.  If you are missing this event you are not getting your money’s worth.

I was impressed my the number of dogs in the park this evening.  I suppose they are always there, but tonight I really noticed them.  And as I was talking to people about this several individuals asked me if I had seen the red dog in the green wagon.  I hadn’t, but I went in search of him and found Uzi and his person Hayden.

Hayden told me that he and Uzi spent a lot of time walking in Baker Park in years past.  But now that Uzi is over ten years old he is suffering more than a little from arthritis and hip dysplasia.  So the outings continue but now Hayden pulls his friend in this green wagon.  And both friends look quite happy.
