The Historic District contains quite a few cemeteries, some well known, some not so much, and a couple in surprising locations.  The red tree in the background brought me inside the walls of this cemetery.

The text on the head stones shown here is on the other side of the stones but is difficult to read.  However, as I was laying on the ground framing this photo I was sharing a bit of space with Andrew Staub who died on January 14, 1873.

  1. Your photos are great – your grammar not quite! Were you laying an egg on the ground or were you, yourself, lying lay on the ground”? Many thanks for your “On Market” daily submission. AP

    • No problem with affect or effect. And I can easily handle to, too or two. But lay and lie do get me more often than not. Thanks for the help!

  2. Love the photo, but you have the address wrong. The cemetery is on the “odd-numbered” side of the street.

  3. I love that yesterday you found mannequins creepy but, today, lying down with the late Andrew Staub was OK. *shudder*
