I have been informally documenting the dismantling of the old log cabin on East 5th over the past week.  This morning there is not much left but a hole in the ground and the stub of a chimney.  This window frame was the last its kind to be pulled from the remaining rubble.  I wonder how many faces have peered through its panes over the decades…

And in a totally different vein, just look how lush that ground cover is for January 2nd!
