So I was sitting in my office earlier this afternoon editing what I thought was going to be today’s photo when my cell phone rang.  Well, it didn’t really ring as I had silenced it a while back.  By the time I figured out I had a call it was too late, the call had gone to voice mail.

So that voice mail turned out to be from my friend Ed who told me that the fog in Baker Park was pretty spectacular and that I should drive over to take a photo or two.  As I was listening to Ed’s voice mail my friend Bill called the office land line (yeah, I still have one of those).  I couldn’t pick up Bill’s call because I was still listening to Ed but I could kinda’ hear Bill’s message and he was telling me that the fog in Baker Park was photo worthy if I did not yet have my daily photo.

With those kinds of messages I had to go see for myself.  And of course they were right.  This is one of the resulting images.

And I was not the only one shooting.  Ed was still there working the scene.  And there were quite a few other folks with phone cameras and real cameras.

Ed, Bill…thanks for thinking of me, this would not have been possible without you…

  1. perfect book cover for a Sherlock Holmes novel!

  2. It was a beautiful evening in Baker Park, looked like something you would create on a movie set. Great picture to show what the park looked like last night. Glad your friends called and you checked it out, perfect!!!!

  3. Love it! And I agree wholeheartedly with both Angie & Nancy. 🙂
