This photo offers me mixed blessings.  I really like the simplicity of the design, jut some straight lines and a few curves and loops.  And the shadow that offers a different perspective on the sprinkler cap and chain is really nice.  And the gold tone bricks work well with the bronze pipe fittings, almost monochrome.

So what’s not to like?

The fact that the writing on the pipe flange is not parallel with the mortar lines in the wall drives me nuts!  (Look at the word “LISTED” on the left side of the flange.)  And now maybe you know a little too much about me…
