This morning as Lamb Chop and I were walking Kodak along the creek we noticed these two ducks perched in this water plant on the far side.  I had a short lens on the camera and couldn’t make a decent photo from my position and figured they would be gone by the time I got to their side of the waterway.  So we just watched for a bit and then carried on.

We walked down to the suspension bridge, crossed the creek, let Kodak drink his fill at the doggie water fountain below the bridge and then walked out to the creek again.  And the ducks were still there.  They looked very comfortable alternately snoozing and preening.

So, they were still there, and I was closer, the lens would reach now, so I took the picture.
