If you have been following my photo blog for any length of time you will know that I like photos that show the big picture in the Historic District.  You can look at the photos I posted yesterday or the day before to see examples.

But the very small scenes like this one are important, too.  These are objects that people in our town have chosen to live with and perhaps touch every day.  Someone is making an effort to keep these plants alive.  Perhaps someone sits on this porch chair every evening and watches the traffic go by.  These little scenes show a little bit of one individuals life.  Although there are no people in this picture, there is humanity.
