This is the picture I tried to take yesterday but once I saw this craftsman working, drove around the block, parked the car and walked to the corner of 2nd and Market, he and his partner were breaking for lunch.  But all worked out well as yesterday’s photo of Jordan received a lot of nice feedback. You can see that photo here.

I was able to talk to Jaysond yesterday and he told me that they would still be working today so I made plans to stop by again.

If you have been around town long enough you will remember when this building was a bank.  The signage for that bank consisted of individual bronze letters held onto the stone facade by pins.  When those letters were removed lots and lot of small holes remained where the pins had been.  Jaysond and his company are removing those three damaged stone blocks and will be replacing them with new pieces of Indiana limestone.

Perhaps I will try to get by again tomorrow for a third photo on this corner.
