I am a bit surprised that after all of these years of doing a photo a day in the Historic District I have not photographed these brightly colored windows before.  Tonight, however, they jumped out at me.

I think that the sculpture in the foreground represents all artists working in Frederick.  There is probably not one of us who has not incorporated the Clustered Spires into our art at one time or another just as this individual is doing here.

  1. Brilliant composition, Bill: colored, back-lit fenestration of the Delaplaine, my favorite downtown sculpture (replete with Spires “painting”), and even glowing streetlights & foliage. Your work so excites, pleases and pacifies me– thank you!

  2. Stephen, Thanks so much for the kind words. Comments like that keep me going! Take care… Bill
