I found it strange that this young couple was dressed for prom…in August!  So I had another drive-around-the-block-and-rush-to-park-the-car-before-they-leave moment.  And happily they were still seated where I first saw them when I did park the car.

Alexa and Matthew told that they were indeed dressed for prom, but it was for a film being shot a few doors down.  They had come outside to find a quiet spot to run lines.  And even though I interrupted their work, they graciously allowed me to include them in today’s daily photo.

  1. Bill — even though I have many friends in the Frederick area, I would never have discovered your beautiful work until you captured these two fine actors running their lines for this indy film’s “big” scene. Ok, full disclosure, that lovely lady is my daughter with her now third-time talented co-star as they near wrapping “The Sisterhood of Girls Who Won’t Date Me,” directed by Frederick’s own Max Radbill. We are excited to support this exciting venture! Thank you for taking the time to drive around the block!

  2. Well, the Francis Scott Key hotel has seen its share of prom dresses over the years. But I suspect this is the first such occasion in the past few decades. What a splendid photo.
