Today the mayor is dedicating the new tunnel under the Rt. 15 access ramp that will allow bikers and walkers to easily travel between the Historic District and the area that used to be called the Golden Mile. I wanted to be there for the event but couldn’t fit it into my schedule so I found a nice bicycle picture instead for my daily post.
For the photo geeks: When I first found this scene there was an open parking space in front of the bikes and I figured I could get a nice square shot from across the street. But by the time I parked and walked back a car had filled that parking space pretty much blocking a clean shot that would keep by lines plumb and square. But the cramped quarters made me get a little creative and I walked away with this photo. So if your preconceived notion of a photo doesn’t work out just keep working it a bit. That car that blocked your view might turn out to have been a good thing.
My guess is that you crawled under the car!
