When I first stumbled across this porch the yellow flowers basking in the noon sunshine caught my eye.  And that is what I saw as I worked this scene with my camera.  But when I came back to the office and began to edit I became fixated on the very interesting ironwork in the railing just in front of those yellow flowers.

And now as I sit here typing I realize those two elements are working together to make the final photo interesting to me.

What did you see first, the flowers or the ironwork?

  2. I am attracted to iron work anyway, so that would be what I noticed first. This piece is beautiful!
