We are on the tail end of the nor-easter here in the Historic District and Baker Park was full of people taking advantage of this last gasp of winter.  Behind me families were sledding on the hill near the band shell and out beyond this snowman a large snow ball battle was underway.  You can just barely see those folks in the lower right hand corner of this photo.

And speaking of snowmen, there was a whole family of a dozen or more near my favorite willow tree and more were being built as I was shooting.

And speaking of my favorite willow tree, look at those branches blowing in the wind!

  1. And speaking of Blowing in the Wind…..great song, just like your picture!!

  2. Perfect! Thank you for this glimpse of downtown for those of us who did not venture out today! Love it.

  3. Oh, shoot – someone beat me to it with “Blowin” in the Wind – one of my very favorite songs!

  4. Looks like that snowman too is ready for warmer temperatures, wearing those hawaiian leis!
