I have been trying to take this picture for more than a few days now.  At first the blossoms on the tree were a little thin, then there was no sun or the neighborhood watchdog was not in his window.  Often a car was parked in the space in front of this home.  But I kept checking and today it all came together.

This is not the first time I have have photographed this little guy (girl?) nor am I the only photographer in town to have noticed him on his sunny perch.  But he doesn’t seem to mind his celebrity and sits patiently while his picture is taken.
