Early this morning I found Brittany and Tucker out for a stroll in front of this series of classic white porches in the Historic District.

Most of these porches are attached to older homes that have been on East 5th for many decades but a few of those homes are five or six or seven years old, tops.  The newer homes were built on empty lots as part of an in-fill project.  And the really neat part is that the newer homes are hard to pick out amongst the older ones.  Well done!

  1. What a great image of repeating lines and intricate geometry!
I’m guessing that the newer homes would be the ones where the lines are straight & level, and the corners are square & plumb.
