I carried my camera early in the evening as Lamb Chop and were walking to dinner.  The sun was getting low in the sky, casting strong, dark shadows, and I found a perfectly serviceable architectural photo for today’s post.  Still carrying the camera, Lamb Chop and I met our youngest son and his girl friend for dinner.

It was dark when we left the restaurant and as we were walking about I saw this scene and raised the camera.  It was an automatic action, I really didn’t even think about it.  Out of seven quick shots there were two that were acceptably sharp and the ladies in the background made this frame the winner of those two.

And I think the moral of this story is to always carry your camera in the Historic District.
