There was a bit of a fire on East Street this morning.  I am not sure but I believe it started with a transformer on the pole above these cars.  The fire was hot enough to melt the rims on that car in the middle.

Full disclosure:  I am on the wrong side of East Street to be in the Historic District here, but I am darn close and I liked the scene well enough to stretch my rules just a bit.

  1. Bill, what an amazing shot. Hubby and I were running some errands this afternoon and I’m almost certain we saw “the other photo Bill” shooting those same cars from the opposite side of the street. We didn’t even know about the fire!
