I have been looking for away to get a nice shot of the St. John steeple wrapped in scaffolding.

Yesterday, serendipity stepped in.

Yesterday’s daily photo had me parking at a metered spot on Patrick near Market.  I was just going to run out, shoot a few frames and be done.  No need to feed the meter, I would not be long at all.  Well, I was not as fast as the meter guy, when I finished shooting I found a yellow love note on my windshield.  Not to worry, I knew that if I could get to the parking office in the Court Street deck within 30 minutes I could have the ticket nullified.  I was just a block away so I drove on over but couldn’t find a parking space on the lower levels.  I was a little frustrated.  However, when I got to the top level I saw this scene out of the corner of my eye and I knew I would be coming back today for my photo.

Yup, a parking ticket led to this photo…
