If you have been following my blog for any length of time you know that I love old painted signs on buildings and I think that I have shot most of them in town.

However, there are hidden treasures to be found, and this sign made a brief appearance today as old aluminum siding was removed from this home.  It is now covered with house wrap and may not make be seen again for decades.

And I was lucky to catch it at all, the first image in this series was made at 3:04:40 this afternoon, the data on this image shows that I shot it at 3:05:15, my last frame in the series shows the sign covered with wrap and I shot that one at 3:07:45.  Total elapsed time from start to finish was 3 minutes and 5 seconds, I was very lucky!

This image would not have been possible at all if I had not seen a posting by my FaceBook friend Ron L. that he had made a few hours earlier of this work.  Thanks much, Ron!

(And you need to know that this building is one block outside of the Historic District, but with the significance of this sign I was happy to break my own rule and cross that border!)
